Quick Meal Tip:
Use rotisserie chicken, pre-cooked grilled chicken, or leftover chicken to cut down the prep time and get this meal together faster.

A creamy, protein-packed pasta salad loaded with chicken, crispy bacon, and ranch flavor — perfect for gatherings, meal prep, or an easy weeknight dinner.
Why This Recipe Works
This pasta salad has a little bit of everything going on — creamy, salty, smoky, tangy, and fresh. The chicken and eggs make it filling, while the bacon brings that smoky crunch that makes you go back for another scoop.
The vegetables help keep it from feeling too heavy, and the homemade ranch-style dressing ties everything together without drowning the pasta.
And because it tastes even better after it chills for a while, this is one of those dishes you can make ahead and let the refrigerator do some of the work.

Chicken Bacon Ranch Pasta Salad
Ingredients
Equipment
Method
- Cook the pasta in water seasoned with the chicken bouillon according to the package directions, about 12 to 14 minutes. Drain, rinse under cold water, and allow it to cool completely.
- Boil the eggs for approximately 16 minutes. Cool, peel, and chop them.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, Miracle Whip, dry ranch dressing mix, sweet relish, dill relish, dill weed, seasoning salt, black pepper, Mrs. Dash Garlic & Herb Seasoning, Honey Dijon, G. Hughes Sweet Sauce, red wine vinegar, sugar, and optional hot sauce.
- Taste the dressing and adjust the seasonings or other dressing ingredients to suit your preference.
- Add the chopped chicken, bacon, eggs, red and green bell peppers, red onion, Vidalia onion, green onions, and parsley to the dressing. Stir until evenly combined.
- Gently fold in the completely cooled pasta until everything is evenly coated.
- Top with the reserved bacon and green onions.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 3 hours, or overnight for the best flavor. Stir before serving and adjust the seasoning if needed.
Notes
Make-Ahead Tip
For the best flavor, make the salad a few hours before serving and let it chill. The pasta has time to absorb some of that ranch flavor while the chicken, bacon, vegetables, and seasonings settle in together.
Before serving, give everything a good stir. If the pasta has absorbed more dressing than you’d like, add a small spoonful of mayonnaise or ranch dressing to bring the creaminess back.
Serving Ideas
Serve this pasta salad:
- alongside grilled chicken or ribs
- at cookouts and potlucks
- as an easy make-ahead lunch
- with sandwiches or wraps
- as part of a cold salad spread
- straight from the refrigerator when you don’t feel like cooking anything else 😄
Flavor Tip
Save a little bacon, green onion, and seasoning for the top just before serving. You’ll get fresh color, extra texture, and a little more flavor in every scoop.
Storage & Serving
Store Chicken Bacon Ranch Pasta Salad in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3–4 days.
Because this is a cold pasta salad made with chicken, eggs, mayonnaise, and other perishable ingredients, keep it refrigerated until you’re ready to serve it. For cookouts or gatherings, return leftovers to the refrigerator promptly rather than letting the salad sit out for an extended period.
Give the salad a good stir before serving. If it has thickened while chilling, add a small amount of mayonnaise or ranch dressing until it reaches the consistency you like.
